A one day microcosm of what the festival sets out to achieve, an open platform with a varied mix of creators supporting each other. The first Not Part Of NYE in January 2008 was a massive success so we decided to do IT every year.
So on Saturday 16th January 2010 The Dancehouse Theatre, Manchester will host 24 acts over 7 hours in 2 spaces (plus an art gallery and a bazaar!).
doors open 4pm and shows until 11.30pm

Mick Sergeant - Shipyard worker turned comedian, artist & erotic fiction writer.
Guitarthur Stringfellow - from Galaxy FM featuring silly songs on guitar, (not for young ears!)
Kris Foster - Fab comedy songs.
Wings of a Dodo Bird - A one-woman show combining storytelling theatre with stand-up comedy.
Mimes align - A completely original work devised and performed by Dolly-Rose Campbell and Lydia Hurst.
MUSIC
Louis Barabbas - "Excellent in every way" Chris Hawkins BBC 6 Music
You & Boo - Proper folk, as wonderfully gentle and whimsical as it comes.
The Visitors - Glam Acoustic Rock reminiscent of early Bowie.
State of Rhymes - A fusion of sounds/styles while staying true to the foundations of hip hop.
Maxwell Watts - Electro Hiphop
THEATRE
What Colour was her Blood - An intimate portrayal of a mother/daughter reunion after 20 years.
Shoe Lace - A comedy of sexual frustration, unrequited love and an unhealthy obsession with shoes.
Don't Tempt Me - A compelling mixture and brutal honesty
Mrs Thompson Almost Live - Never has so much nonsense made so much sense.
That's Not the Way to do it - A Modern Puppet Show
Tripple Crossed - Elements of circus and movement to convey a story
