Not Part Of FESTIVAL 2009
The Not Part Of Festival returned to Manchester for 17 days with over 100 events ranging across the city centre and beyond. This year MIF returned making the purpose and ethos of the Not Part Of all the more clearer.
With loads of press coverage, a closing party with awards presented by forever manchester and Northwest Playwrights and a central information hub staffed by an army of volunteers Not Part Of continues grow in scale.

Not Part Of New Years Eve returned on the 17th January 2009 in its home of The Dancehouse to provide again a sampler of Manchester's thriving creative community and of work shown in last summers Not Part Of Festival. A high old time was had by all and you can link to some of the artists involved through our myspace;
Not Part Of Festival 2008
A ten day programme of events that blazed a trail across Manchester in July 2008. An exciting range of events occurred both in fringe venues and more traditional spaces. This year we were pleased to welcome to the the Not Part Of fold institutions such as The Royal Exchange, Urbis, Manchester University, Manchester Jewish Museum among others. NOT PART OF NEW YEARS EVE WAS A CULTURAL ANTIDOTE TO THE TRADITIONAL NEW YEARS EVE DEBAUCHERY. 28 ACTS IN 2 SPACES UNDER 1 ROOF; COMEDY, THEATRE, LIVE MUSIC, POETRY, DANCE AND PUPPETRY. NOT PART OF NEW YEARS EVE WAS A SHOWCASE OF WORK FROM BOTH 2007’S NOT PART OF MANCHESTER INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL AND ARTISTS WHO WILL BE INVOLVED IN FUTURE NOT PART OFS.
